The Garden House
Our new residential facility consists of three linked pavilions providing a flexible, accessible facility accommodating either two groups of 30 or one of 60.

For meetings and conferences. The Cedar Hall will accommodate up to 150 for conferences and trainings and for smaller meetings The Oak Room & the Beech Room both accommodate up to 12.

Each wing, suitable for 24 children and 6 adults, works independently and is set within the walled garden providing a safe and secure environment.  The Garden house is fully accessible for those with special needs and includes a high dependence suite in each wing.

The Garden house is ideal for all ages whether it is children's residential adventures, day trainings, meetings and large events.  You can enjoy the whole Netherurd Experience and combine your visit to include outdoor activity experiences with our highly trained outdoor instructors who can organise your outdoor programme.

 

	The Garden House boasts comfort and space with all beds suitable for adults, offering a peaceful night.
	With large hall and activity area to suit all needs, whether it be training, workshops, meetings or games. The hall opens boasts extensive storage and opens directly into the walled garden.
	Two quiet lounges offer breakout rooms for smaller groups, with TV/DVD for training or just relaxing.

Each wing of The Garden House consists of:

• Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, and a separate large pantry

• Large craft and dining room with sink and store cupboards

• Leaders accommodation includes single beds with en suite shower & toilets

• Large lounge

• First Aid room

• A High dependency suite and toilet

• 4 dormitories with bunk beds, each sleeping 6 children, with ensuite toilet and shower facilities

• A bag room

• A cloakroom

• A drying room

• Laundry

• Cleaning room

• Toilet accessible from the outside

• Store room accessible from the outside

• NB - towels, toilet rolls, soap are not supplied when self-catered 

 

Groups with Special Needs The Garden House at Netherurd is comfortably equipped for groups with special needs.
With wide corridors, two high dependency suites, first aid room, laundry room, and a particularly spacious main hall allows full choice of activity.
